Everyone at this company is fantastic! I thought I had a special situation with training two dogs at one time (three total in the house) but the trainers have made every training session fun, very informative, and my dogs have made HUGE improvements way faster than I thought was possible. I look forward to our lessons and the dogs really enjoy them too. As a veterinarian, I was actually embarrassed with my dogs behavior and was nervous to start training, not knowing how my dogs would respond, but I am so glad I went with Off Leash Dog Training. It is so easy to tell that they love dogs, love what they do, and are incredibly tuned in to canine behavior. I have already recommended them to my clients!

We can’t say enough about Off Leash Dog Training. Our frenchie, Zizou, joined Jumpstart and spent 10 fun days with the family of trainers. She’s the same loving, sweet frenchie but now with awesome manners. We take her with us on many occasions (beach, park, soccer games...) and only because of this training are we comfortable doing so. She gets the best compliments on her obedient behavior. Our trainer constantly checked up on us and offered any help post Jumpstart and we incorporate the training daily. I’d recommend this team to anyone with a new 4-legged friend.

We adopted a rescued pit bull who came to us with many issues. He had no basic skills and a total lack of confidence. The staff from Off Leash Dog Training came in changed all of our lives. We now have a confident dog who is a great ambassador for his breed and all dogs everywhere.

I adopted a 1-year old Great Dane puppy from a rescue. Not much was known about his past, other than he was surrendered because he was "crazy". I learned quickly he might be. We were both completely stressed. I started looking into training organizations in Charlotte and had seen Off Leash Dog Training via their water buckets at restaurants around town. The whole process from the in-home consultation to the complete training experience was incredible. Max was treated like he was their dog at all times. Proud of Max’s new abilities, we started group training immediately. They truly live their "Train as you Live" mantra. This is not just a training company--it's a community.

Our experience with Off Leash has been nothing short of PHENOMENAL! Coach Kay has been fundamental in teaching Caspa to be a proper pup! The whole team of trainers we've worked with have been so helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly when working with Caspa and us. Caspa is now able to walk easily on leash and ignore so many different distractions which have been frustrating in the past. Off Leash really changed our lives for the better. HIGHLY recommend. We could not be happier!

I decided to get Gauss, my 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer into Off Leash Dog Training after many months of me trying to train him on my own for with limited success. I knew I needed some help with my very high energy pup so we signed up for the Jumpstart Program. Gauss spent the best 10 days with Cody learning so much! He had a great time and is now so much better on walks and has a great recall, a skill he was not very good at before being taught by Cody. He is also now able to sit nicely in crowded places, and the other day we even went to a brewery and got so many compliments about how well behaved he is! I also really appreciate the group classes. The trainers are very good at teaching us humans how to best handle our pups in all sorts of environments, and are very kind and clear in their instruction. Finally, Cody is always available to answer my questions over text, which is very appreciated when we run into an issue and want to address it before the next group class. I would recommend off leash and Cody to anyone!!

We love Off Leash! Jay has been amazing with our German Shepard Koa, and taught her so much during the Jump Start program. After Jump Start, he has been a great resource and has helped us transition her training so that we know the commands as well, and so that she responds to us as well. Love that once you are in the Off Leash program, you have a lifetime of help and resources to continue the training, and that it doesn't just end after 10 days. Highly recommend!

Before Off Leash I had put my puppy, Lucie, through all 3 levels of a Pet Store training courses. She was a good puppy, but still extremely reactive to other dogs on the leash and was thoroughly convinced that 'come' meant 'run away as fast as you can.' Trying to get her in from the backyard was a 30 minute ordeal, you couldn't take her in public without her trying to jump on everybody and off leash was a major no. When I finally reached my breaking point, I scheduled to work with a trainer. After the first lesson, my dog was already 1000x better on a leash. I could walk her without her lunging at everybody. He helped me on some of the basic leash walking, place command, and coming back to me when off leash. After a couple lessons I started to work with another trainer as well. She has been equally as awesome. With her help, I have gotten my puppy walk right at my heel in distracting settings both on and off the leash. Our trainer is also at the group classes we started to attend which is beneficial so she knows what to work with me on for the next lesson. We are beginning training in stores/restaurants now and I can't wait to see all the progress she makes. Lucie went from a good dog to an amazing companion. She and I can do everything together now. Off Leash Dog Training worked wonders on her skills and our relationship and I am so thankful I found them!

We are having the best experience with Off Leash Dog Training! We did the Ultimate program with Kay for our 1 year old Golden Retriever, Willow. Willow loves Kay and has become an even more amazing dog that is super attentive, listens and truly enjoys training. We are so happy we made this choice and get to be a part of the Off Leash Dog Training family!

Very happy since the very beginning. To start, I scheduled the initial interview close to the 2020 Holiday season, so the first open slot was in January. I added a note indicating I was motivated and would make time sooner if they had availability and they promptly accommodated me. That first interview with Dom gave us all we needed to make our decision. We chose the 'at-home' program and Dom has been our main trainer. Can't say enough good things about him and the whole methodology. Our Mini Aussie loved him at first sight and she has learned everything he taught her very smoothly. In addition to the 'scheduled' program, Dom gives us tips to leverage the methodology and tools to teach Sky other things and that has worked perfectly. Dom always shows up on time for the sessions. The one time he was not available, we met another trainer (James) who was just as great. As I write this, Sky has graduated and we will be going to our first group lesson this coming weekend. We are sure that will continue helping us in a big way. Turned out to be a lengthy review, but if I were to summarize, I would just say I absolutely recommend this company and trainers. The 'office' is always on top of things and very quick to respond to any question or doubt I may have. They have been great.

Off Leash, and especially Kay, are the best dog trainers we could have hoped for! Highly, highly recommend. The results are very clear after sending your dog to JumpStart and all the group trainings.

We're first time dog owners and bought a beautiful new cockapoo puppy named Jenni right at the 2021 New Year. Months later, after multiple issues (including biting our entire family aggressively, counter surfing for food, barking aggressively at other dogs/joggers in our neighborhood during walks etc.), we were ready to look into giving Jenni away to a loving family. Then...we met Jay from Off Leash 🙂 Jay came by our home, did a phenomenal demonstration with his dog Eleven, and we decided as a last resort to give Off Leash a try prior to giving our 10 month old puppy away. We did the ten day board training...and were blown away with the results! Our dog's behavior took a complete 180 degree turn, and she's super respectful, and no longer exhibits the behaviors concerning our family. Jay and Cody worked so well with her, and I believe Off Leash is the BEST dog training program our there.
