Meet Cody

Hi, I’m Cody. I was born and raised in Charlotte and have been growing with this city since ‘94. My family bred German Shepherds when I was growing up so my earliest memories are with dogs.
In 2017 my wife, Haley, and I rescued our pup Kemba. Kemba helped me find my passion in dog training. If we’re not throwing frisbee at a park in Charlotte you can find us on the coast playing in the sand. All three of us have a little salt water in our blood.
I recently worked in sales at a fastener company and got tired of the same old corporate mentality. I decided to take a leap of faith and start a career in something I enjoy. I really like helping families create a good bond with their dogs. Being able to show dogs what they’re able to do is a satisfying feeling.
I am very excited to help other dog lovers enjoy the Off Leash Lifestyle and teach the train as you live philosophy.
When I’m not working with dogs you can find me on a golf course or at a Charlotte sporting event. I enjoy playing all sports but also enjoy hanging out with family and friends.
