Our furry friend, Winston the Shih Tzu, has just graduated to Group Lessons at Off Leash Dog Training, and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress! He’s picked up key obedience commands and made significant improvements in curbing his nipping and chewing habits. Even better, Winston has found a new love for training—it’s become his favorite game!
For Winston, training isn’t just about following commands; it’s a fun, interactive game where he gets to show off his skills. He’s learned to think of every session as playtime, and his enthusiasm has made the process enjoyable for both him, his trainer Kay, and his parents. By channeling his energy into these playful challenges, Winston has not only become more obedient but also more engaged and excited to learn.
But while Winston’s progress is impressive, the journey doesn’t end here. Now it’s time for his owners to step into the game, too! Training Winston is a team effort, and his family will need to learn their part through follow-up one-on-one and group lessons. These sessions are crucial for reinforcing the foundations Winston has learned and ensuring he can apply them in real-world situations.
Winston’s continued training will help turn his newly acquired skills into lifelong habits. With consistent practice and his owners’ involvement, he’ll be more than ready to tackle any challenge that comes his way, from greeting new friends politely to staying calm during walks. We’re confident that, with a little more play and practice, Winston will continue to shine!
Stay tuned for more updates on Winston’s progress—it’s all part of the game!
